I spent days going through this entire thread and it helped me gather up a plan for where I want to take my 951. I also noticed that all of these cars are beautiful... so I thought I would post up one ugly one. ;-)
It will be beautiful someday! (although right now I'm focused on just getting everything sorted mechanically)

1986 Pearl White on 17" Fikse FM10s, Bridgestone Potenza RE760 235/45's front, 265/40's rear
My other ride, 1987 Nile Green Metallic on Cup I's powder-coated gold. This car is still a work in progress on the outside - needs lots of paint work...

How do you like the re 760 s n 17 inch size? I have them on my phones and like them a lot, however the side wall is soft for my taste. Are they stiff side walls with the 17 inch size.
Btw, I love your cars.

I just mounted up the wheels and tires on the white one so I can't really comment yet. I am going from phone dials with old tires so initial impressions are very positive. Really like how it feels now with the wider tires... Haven't got in to it enough to get a feel for the side walls.
For the green one I purposefully put on different tires so I could see what I like better - 17" Continental Extreme Contact DW's.
The re760's seem to feel better so far...

Here is my 944 turbo. It was manufactured July 1987 and used as dealer car, delivered to its first owner (in Switzerland) in November 1988. It was driven by the first owner till 2007, when it came to Latvia. Bought it a year ago. Did a lot of maintenance work during last winter. This is how it looked just after I bought her (these are Keskin KT3 8.5 and 9.5 18 inch wheels). It has burgundy full leather interior.
Took it to the track this spring when I had driven just 100 miles with it. Here are some pics:
Car is mostly stock, except: Tial 38mm waste-gate (the original WG spring was done and could not get more than 0.55 bars of boost), custom 3'' exhaust (including down-pipe, with two Magnaflow resonators, front strut bar.
Brakes: EBC Yellow stuff brake pads with Motul RBF 660 racing brake fluid (first upgrade as the track had two second gear corners (50 - 60 mph) where you have to brake from 90 - 100 mph). Works really great both on track and street. Atiwe steering wheel (almost the same as OEM 968 Clubsport).
Managed to drive it 2000 miles this summer and participated in some other youngtimer events.
The car is in garage for some suspension upgrades: 27 mm torsion bars, 250 lbs Weltmeister springs, LR 968 M030 Sway Bars, 30mm front, 19mm rear. Updated 968 caster blocks, Powerflex bushings and alignment that is more suitable for fast cornering.
A lot of grate cars on this forum!
