Guilty as charged.

Things are good. At least until the baffoons in DC push the country into a real rebellion. But enough about that. In the spirit of the thread, here is a pic of my non-951 that will soon have either a 951 heart or a 3 liter 16 valve turbo heart.

You just made up my mind in regards to around the cluster vs across the dash stitching. That looks really, really nice.

Glad you like it, I was torn between the two options as well. I think this option is a little more subtle and looks closer to stock.

The age old question, which one in this picture is broken????

Any Z-guys on here may notice something very unusual with the one pictured, first person to get it right gets a cookie.

I can't comment on which one is broken but I did have to comment on the side by side 300zx and 944. There seems to be something about owners of 944's also liking 300zx's and vice versa. I often see photos of the two models side by side. Quite strange and I've always wondered why.

That said my previous car was a TT 300zx and I'm a big fan of 951's

Hey Oz,

The z is my best friends car that I helped him build. They really are great cars to and I would not mind one.

Btw, I will give a hint to which is broken, it is the one that is supposed to be more reliable.

Here is my baby. 1986 951, mostly original only one prior owner, an older doctor from North Andover, MA. She bought it new and kept it in perfect condition. Has 74,000 original miles. Factory options included white pearl leather sport seats in a burgundy interior, Koni sport shocks, LSD, white Fuchs, alarm. Car still has the factory battery charger accessory, floor mats, sunroof bag and wheel locks.

I did a transmission re-seal, all belts, hoses and a timing belt job with factory water pump. The car has been driven very sparingly over the last 10 years and although all maintenance was current by milage, it was way out on time. While we were in there, I installed a LR boost enhancer, a LR chip and shimmed the wastegate. Absolutely transformed the car. It pulls hard in any gear, but 5th gear roll ons are amazing! 70-120 almost instantly (on track of course).

I am enjoying driving the car as is for now. Once I get my solo sign-off from Chin, I will track the car with minimal upgrades. I have a bolt-in 4 point roll bar and a Sparco Evo III seat in storage. Not sure I'm going to use them. I'm not ready, yet, to start stripping out the car and drilling holes for harness mounts.

Thanks for looking!
