Chrome mirror housing- different. Where did you get those? Remind me of ones that are on Audis...
i didnt really wanna share my secret but since my brother and friend have already copied it, and i guess were all here to share and contribute right? i modified the 2004 mini cooper mirrors and sanded the chrome covers on them to get a brushed aluminum look
Just updated my interior. Painted parts grey and got new seats. Also went for a two peace rear seat bench. Had to have a bracket welded in place but looks great combined with my also retrofitted threepoint belts.

the my 2004 and 2005 have smaller mirrors than the newer ones. the newer ones are alot bigger and very rounded "dont really like em" but with very little sanding of the plastic mounting surface and drilling 1 screw hole on the door while also using the factory mounting hole they can be installed. Oh yeah you have to removed the swivel mechanism from the too unless you want to cut a big hole on your door. It took alot of searching but i got hundreds of compliments on my mirrors.
