Question 968 mirrors

Im looking for some 968 mirrors ... anyone know where to get? (parts cars or something?) , Lindsey seems a little steep at 500.00 ...

Yup, Lindsey Racing is a rip off, big time... you can go to Sunset Parts and get the for $445 new IIRC...

I have a used set of them from a Zermat silver 968 mirrors/ clear bra on them from a race car in great shape that I "may" be willing to part with... not sure though

Definitely never look for 968 mirrors new. These are one of those parts that you should find from an auto dismantler or on eBay. Otherwise as you have seen, the prices are way too high.

Chris,

I found the used ones to be only $25 cheaper than the new ones, so i went for brand new motors, glass, all primed and ready to paint, and the passenger side has wide angle mirror.

I looked at OK salvage and a couple of places and they wanted $350 for a set. I called Sunset and was quoted $375, rather than $445.

Maybe you can get them a lot cheaper used, but that was my experience.

So with my PCA $100 discount, I got them for $275.

$375 was the price before the Porsche price increase to $445 about 4 months ago...
