I am seriously looking into building a custom harness for a AEM engine managent system. Looking at the pin outs on the box I am interested in I dont think it will be that hard to do.
I do not want to chop my current Link 2 plug and play harness as eventually I want to sell the Link2 and harness as a set. I made the mistake of selling my old harness which was pretty good.
I need to know where I can buy the connector plugs for things such as the stock...
14way rectangular block near the brake servo
Injectors
TPS
Engine temp
Knock sensor
Thanks.

I just got a knock sensor connector (same connector as almost all sensors and injectors) from Zims (www.allzim.com). It was $8 and had about 6" of leads. The plug is made by AMP so I'm sure you could find an electronics supplier somewhere and get them much cheaper.

dmoffitt is running a TEC3 system. The TEC3 is pretty top notch IMO as it combines the EMS with its own ignition setup. It also uses all of its own sensors so there might be less guesswork. Overall, it is a very capable system.
The AEM appears to provide very similar functionality to the TEC3 with more flexibility for using different sensors. It can also be had for much less money on the secondary market (~$1100).
