Default Flywheel to crank bolts? replace?

Hello
should I use new one?
The old one are only 3 years old or 20000 miles but I am wondering if I should replace them or not.
I didn't find anything or the repair manual

Don't you replace all the hardware (bolts) things like motor mounts, water pump, flywheel etc?

Hosrom, no, it's a good way to waste extra money in many cases.

Hmmm......but if those bolts where in there for a while (as in 10+ years) and they are relatively 'cheap' for an extra investment..............many vendors sell them part of their 'kit'.....

So, if you find a few of these bolts rusted, just coat them with copper base grease or something?

One of my water pump bolts actually snapped off, my mechanic had to 'drill' it out, and recommended new bolts for these applications.........

I believe the manual calls for replacement and I replace them. Plus, when you reinstall them a second time, the cheeseheads usually start to give way and give you an innacutate torque reading.

Until I hear of one of these bolts failing I see no reason to replace them. I never had a problem with the cheeseheads either, and this wouldnt effect the torque rating anyway. Technically once you use any hardware you are supposed to replace it, because they stretch, but I doubt flywheel bolts will fall out if you just use a little red locktite.

i replaced all of my Pressure plate bolts because all of them were stripped out from the PO and i barely got them all out. I end up using allen heads instead of cheeseheads. Fly wheel i left them the same casue they looked like in good shape

The factory manual states to replace the flywheel bolts each time they are removed. They are a single use fastener.

The PP bolts are reusable if in good condition.
