Whats the p/n for the forged rods...
Unfortunately, I have many data points.

I recently took my 87 engine apart and found it also had "forged" rods, part number 944.103.110.0RARST.

All 951 engine have forged pistons/rods.

I have a new set of Kolbenschmit and Mahle pistons (if anyone is interested ) and both are forged.

I also have the early and late 944 NA and S2/968 pistons, i didn't check if they were forged or not.

I was going trough the manual last night, i came across the pistons and yes, they are ALL forged
