Default Hmmm Custom rear bumper?

Kinda sorta, thought about doing a 968 rear conversion, But i dont know, its nice but Im doing custom tail lights. I dont know if a 968 bumper is worth the work, plus id be modifying it anyway.
So im thinking about something that may be half way of a 968 bumper.

Like to see if thered be any interest.

I didnt want anything bolting On Top of the body of the car.
But didnt want to hassle with the fitting of the upper section of the 968 bumper with the tail lights and all.

But the problem with the stock body is the way it kind of narrows just be hind the fender lip, which is why NA's look kind of naked and the 951's have the wing curl up the side right there.

Anyway. So i figure if i come up with a rear peice that includes the bumper and under panel. BUT it would require cutting the body along that same lower line as the 968, but not removing the peice just below the tail lights.

But it would also require cutting the bottom of the spare wheel well.

So the sides would be more like the 968, though im trying to find a way to make it 951 esque, perhaps with a small wing like lip on the side

Dude, I am confused by what you are going to produce. Perhaps do some photoshop work... there are a few guys around here that mess with that kind of stuff all the time if you dont have the skill.

Basically, it would be a rear bumper that would be like the 968 in where it attatches on the fenders, but you dont mess with your tail lights. You know how the 968 rear bumper wraps up and around the tail lights? well what im working on would be all below the piece under the tail lights (with the porsche decal on it)

think of it this way: if you cut the fenders along the same line as the Piece with the porsche decal thats just above the stock bumper. This is about the same place the 968 fender attatcher

Photoshop, options, and price is what you are missing to get some discussion

Well i dont want to give to much away. Basically im just trying to get a feel, Since i dont see many 968 bumper conversions, i assume due to the work involved. This would be about half the work of the 968 bumper but should be beneficial aerodynamically as far as the conversion/installation it would be like if you were only bolting on the lower half of the 968 bumper(minus the tail light portion)

kinda sorta, as far as the line im talking about. though it looks as if that one bolts over the stock body, which i think looks kind of tacky, though what im working on would definately be better, weather i make it just for my car or actually make some forsale

Personally I think the reason people like the 968 rear is because of the tail lights. There is a place in the UK that does these conversion, club sport somthing a rather. I have the euro rear obviously, and the only thing I dont like about the rear is the dated lights... I will do a 968 rear eventually...
