Pauerman

Its probably in the hundreds of dollars. Like I said, I use it and have not had any issues, as have dozens of others...

No they're threaded! Otherwise catastrophy would be waiting for you in the next corner!

I just saw this post of yours; I missed it before I went to bed last night.

I am quite satisfied with the Vitesse Stage 2 kit. I didn't actually install the kit, but, Ian, the car's previous owner and creator, said that the kit was not difficult to install. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about John's customer service (he is Fast951 on the board), so if you were to encounter difficulty during the install, I'm sure that he would help you leap over the hurdle. As far as power goes, yes, it lives up to its claims. Ian took the "Special" to a dyno a month before I bought it, and, at 17 psi on pump gas, he laid down 330/330 at the rear wheels. Bear in mind that this was during 95 degree summer heat and the dyno's fan was faulty. Good luck, and feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.

Spool-up times:

1st gear: over too soon to even get full boost it seems
2nd gear: 3200
higher gears: just under 3k

I purchased John's kit as well awhile back, ran into some trouble, and John was that of a stand up guy to step in and resolve the entire problem. So ya he is a stand up guy, and keeps his word. So if your looking for a kit to purchase, talk to him.

I have a '86 951 with Guru 15psi chip set, Tial 38mm wastegate and no cycling valve, FULL BOOST in 3rd gear at 3,200. Without the cycling valve in plus the wastegate, it does build boost sooner though.

You people with vitesse stage 2 kit, what rpm does it hit 1bar/14.5 psi? (with or without quick spool option & other engine mods?)

Going to order a stage 2 kit from you in the vinter john/fast951
