Very Odd.....

Your 60ft times are pretty good for a 951 with street tires. Your trap speed is very high for a 15 sec run. It almost seems that you'd be losing a lot of time between shifts or getting a bunch of lag after a shift. Here's a breakdown of some of my times when I raced mustangs way back in the day.

Relativly stock.... I was seeing 2.4 60 ft times, 94 traps, with 13.5 E.T.'s.
Mild mods.... I was seeing 2.0 60 ft times, 114 traps, with 12.0 E.T.'s.
Even more mods.. 1.6 60 ft times, 132 traps, with 10.2 E.T.'s.

I think your issue is your ability (don't take it the wrong way). As with anything, it does take practice and the 951 is not the easiest car to drag. My 951 when stock (from a stop) would beat a mid 13 car.

Or..... I could be full of ****?

Billgot, my signature is wrong, i didnt get the chips that i had wanted and havent updated it, i actually have the 15psi guru chips, i do hit 14-15 psi in 4th but i dont come out of third on the 1/4mile, so i am actually hitting about 13 psi in 3rd on my aftermarket gauge, i do have a problem (wastegate i assume) in that i cannot increase boost over the 14-15psi no matter what i set reliaboost at (not that i want any more boost with the 15psi chips), i have placed an order with sfr for tial wastegate but they havent responded to my emails in over a week???

My friends impreza turbo which i have ran against on most of my runs is doing a 2sec dead 60foot, 14.2 1/4 mile with a 92-93 trap speed, he kills me off the line every time, altho by half way down the track we must be running about the same with me marginally catching him at the end, i had to stop running against him was sick of getting beat!!!

I have a real hard time beleiving those times. My freind with a super modded 88 mr2 making 500-600 rwhp who did wheelies managed to pull 10's, and a stock car does a 14.6, according to tests when new...
was this at the track, or measured on some g-tech pro device?

Eyal,
He's in Scotland, Altitude won't be an issue, and its nearly always cold damp air at this time of year, the kind of air you would kill for at a spead trial!!

How many revs are you holding before clutch release process?
How are you releasing the clutch
Does the engine sound like you are spinning wheels?
Can you hear wheel spin?

Cheers

Eyal Believe what you want, I'm not here to impress you. All my times were on the track, not from some g-tech.

Here's what my mustang consisted of 8 years ago......

Built 306 W/ filled block, blueprinted, lightened, and balanced, 10.8 compression and a few other trix. Fox lake ported Trick Flow heads, Ported edelbrock upper and lower, 75mm TB & mass air, Comp Cams 228 @ .50 W/ 544 lift, 110 degree lobe separation, 1.7RR, 30lb injectors, long tube headers, lightend flywheel, center force clutch, tremec 3550 trans, 3.73 gears, Auburn LSD, Subs, ADJ pinon angle, 150 to 200 HP N2O, Mickey thompson 26x10 slicks, and a few other goodies. The car pulled both front wheels with ease.......So what do you think it ran? What HP do you think this motor made?Anyone that actually know something about cars, or mustang's, won't dispute these times.

I am not sure whats going wrong I thought those mph's seemed high I would still think maybe clutch I'm not sure I am just trying to help put options in front of you.As for your boost I don't know your setup but if you still have the stock banjo bolt in your boost wont go above the boost jet in the banjo bolt.As for your friends car don't race 4WD cars the launch like a monkey.I had a similar setup as you I was doing low 14's high 13's at about 100 MPh's at the very end of 3rd gear I only have 1 15 sec time on my old sheets and I was doing 96mph but I must of had a bad start or something all my other runs of the night were in the 14's.

Tommo at starting line i am holding about 4000 revs, i release clutch gradually but quite quickly and no i am not getting any wheelspin, not in the dry anyway, 2 of my runs today were damp/raining and i got a mass of wheelspin on the run in rain and ran over 16 secs!! I released clutch too quickly on last run against mr2 roadster and dropped out of boost off of line, still ran a 15.3 but got beat!! just!!

Well, 2.3 ins't real bad, but can be improved on. However, 15 runs!!!!! and almost any car's clutch will be an issue.
