Default How do I adjust Koni's???

I got some koni's for my 87' 951 that were used and they have 951 stamped in the side etc.. But they also have adjustable stamped on the housing. There is no way to adjust from the top or the bottom. The only thing that looks different is the top where the silver piston goes through the hole of the housing, that car part has two little holes on opposite sides that looks like something might grab it and turn it since the cap has threads like it screws in and out of the housing. If someone could please help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

You have to remove the strut, remove the spring and fully compress the shock in order to engage the internal adjustment mechanism. Not nearly as user friendly as the current externally adjustable versions.

Jason, does the same procedure apply to the 04 Koni Yellows (M030)?

No sir, the M030 struts will be externally adjustable for rebound.

So what do I do when I compress the shock all the way, and also is there something that let me know I am adjusting it like a click or something?
