I did not know that. Hell I dont even play golf but everyone at work seems to frequent the Low Pro site!

I would definetly go hit clubs, even if you dont have much experience. There are going to be clubs that feel easier to swing, feel better when they strike the ball, etc. Then make a decision on what you want. I recommend pings, because there are a very forgiving club, and for the money, feel very good. Things to look for. Oversided heads will be more forgiving as far as aim goes, but you will sacrifice distance (not that you will notice at this point). A more modest head size will give you a little more distance, but are going to tend to hook, slice, etc more. Recently you see a lot of oversized heads being made due to being more forgiving as more people are starting to take up golf.

I have had these for a long time now and still do not want to buy new clubs. They are very forgiving and provide for great distance. I am kind of disappointed that they sell for so cheap now.
