I need some pics of what you guys did for a modified water outlet. I have on but I dont see how it is going to make it work. It came from a car with a working T04E setup, I just dont see how it was in there.

Matt, Wayne has some photos on his home site. Basically he used a nipple and a coupler to extend the pc out so that you wouldn't have to ben it so far. Jim L did the same thing on his car on the Vitesse II kit.

Bret, on the oil hose up top, did you bend it to make it fit just right?

On Jim's car it fit pretty well. He may have heated up the forward pipe just a bit but I can't remember. Oh, and cut that tab for a mounting point off the pipe too. Here is a pic of Jim's install. As you can see the oil line turns a bit and then a little twist to line it up. No kink in the hose, just a very small twist.

Those are some nice clean bends. You should have seen my first attempt with a torch and hammer. Uuuuuugly!!!! Take your time and try to bend it instead of smacking it like i did. The more heat the better.

David, are you not running the thermo for the turbo cooling pump? Top of switch looks covered with lithium grease.

I used the same set up as pictured above and it fit well without having to bend the water line. The oil line fit without any alteration. I did remove the manifold support bracket and filed down the top boss on the turbo cold side so the IM would sit right. It took a few tries to get the turbo indexed right for maximal clearance. I bench oriented it first in relation to the K26 then it took just a few trials and adjustments while in the car. I think I ended up leaving the indexing bolts loose enough that I could rotate the cold side to the correct position while the turbo was mounted in place and then was able to reach the bolts to tighten for a perfect fit.
