That is one BIG A$$ turbo.
Nice clutch
by the way, did you lighten the stock flywheel?
Here is a tip, look ate your DMW Temp sensor, i would REALLY REALLY replace that. It should look BLUE not greenish. Same goes for the other sensor while your there.

Thanks Guys,
Macnewma : It's the standard downpipe with a short
lenght being cut off & replace with a new peace.
David: Alternator is a 90amp unit from a Sentra.
Would have to make a slightly smaller pulley cause
it's not charging enough during idle. Seems that the
Nissan crank pulley is bigger.
Por951turbo: Edman951 should should get the credit
for that. It's his idea. The only diff is that I had the
flange welded to the NPT adapter. Oh that funny face
pic is another 961 buddy.
Horsrum: Did you not see the pic of the Fidenza flywheel ?
Indica: Right now I'm running at 1 bar. Have more tuning
to do before I can comment. Initial feeling is that it seems
like a bigger engine. The power delivary is vey linear unlike
the old K26 where you have a sudden rush of power.

J Chen,
To make the turbo fit you had to install a smaller alternator? Does this allow you to keep the AC? would it be possible to delete my AC and keep the stock alternator and get this turbo to fit?
Is your turbo oil/water cooled?
what RPM are you seeing 1 bar on your rough tune?
Thanks for posting this info- I am seriously thinking about doing my own gt25 installation- I can get one of these turbo's for cheap from a friend.

CONGRATULATION J Chen,
It was a plessure to give you some information. Thanks for the kind works.
I'm happy it worked out and can't wait to see some dyno #.
Look good, that's a nice turbo
That housing is just too badass. Its really clean compared to the other housings.
Your mount looks just like mine. I'm very happy that it also worked for you.
How do you like it?
Does it spool good?
Do you have more picture, like the engine bay with the new setup.
How about the sound, does the turbo make a nice sound.
Indica,
Yes his turbo is oil/water coolled you can see the water fitting in the last picture on his page. The oil feeds trow the top and the water goes trow the side in the gold banjo bolt you see in the picture.
Take care.

Indica : AC or not, you've got to change the alternator.
Due to the size of the compressor housing, the
turbo has to be set much lower than factory set
up to clear the intake manifold. Unless you've
using some aftermarket intake, I don't see that
theres anyway round this.
Edman: So far so good. Not too sure about spool up right now.
On initial trial, I was worried more about the AF than
anything else. I'm having another turbo intake pipe
made to fit an HKS bov cause my standard one is shot.
Will keep you posted Edman. So far my impression is
of driving a car with a bigger engine. Vey linear power
dilevary. Oh you can hear a jet engine like whine even
when the engine is at idle. I hope that once tuned, the
spool up & power output will not be a dissapointment.
Will post some more pics soon.
Hosrum: Thanks, will replace those sensors.

J Chen,
Your crossover could fail at that weld joint in your picture. You might want to have that redone by the person that welded your downpipe because that looks like a much better weld.Just thought I would give you a little advice before you put everythng back together and have to take it apart down the road.Take care.

Thanks Tim,
But it's too late. Anyway, I'm just doing some
testing. I've in mind to do a totally new
crossover cause I'm not very satisfied with
using a smaller pipe to joint to the original
one. Why, similar dimension pipe are'nt
available here.
