Bigger turbos tend to be more effective, ie. they don't heat the compressed air as much as smaller ones. I don't think a twin turbo setup could work that well in a 4-cylinder car... since each turbo only had two cylinders feeding it, the exhaust pulses would hit at pretty excessive intervals (1 per two engine revolutions?) (or would that even be a problem? I don't know.)

It seems a twin T set up would always out perform a single as you could have a lot smaller turbos for super quick spool up, but they are driving half the motor so still have plenty of steam up top. Am I missing something??
I know a lot of the high end Supra TT guys switch back to single turbo's and I never understood that.
