Default Brakes: Copper Plus

I just put some of this "Copper Plus" stuff on my brake pads and also cilinders. It's supposed to keep things nice & smooth.

Now this is the first time i've put it actually on the brake cilinders, uptil now i'd always only used it on the pads themselves.

I was wondering: is this a good or a bad idea? The other day somebody tolled me i shouldnt use copper grease but silver grease instead. And I'm also not very sure if its a good idea to but it on the brakecilinders themselves.

If anyone has an idea please enlighten me

Thanks!
