Pricing is per wheel plus shipping from Japan, far easier to get them in the states and pay a little more per wheel.

I think that is supposed to be 18# per wheel. Motorcycle wheels are in the 8# range

When I talked to CCW about their wheels, they mentioned something about how the track wheels were hub-centric, but wouldn't accept caps. (Obviously not needed on a set of track wheels) He went on to say the street wheels took CCW caps, but they weren't hub-centric wheels. I couldn't get a straight answer from him on why the street wheels wouldn't be hub-centric, so I ended up spending more and getting a set of Kinesis.

probably has to do with the size of the caps, one size fits all fitments

You can get them in white too:

These are like a modern-day Fuchs wheel; one-piece forged construction, very strong. They didn't list the weights of the Porsche fitments directly, but their other 18x8.5" and 18x9.5" wheels weigh about 17 lbs. Their forged magnesium TE37 is about 13lbs in 18x8.5" but unfortunately not available in Porsche drilling.

"they're both in the $600 range.is this pricing per wheel? or for a pair?"

You don't want to know what the titanium wheels costs...

these are nice wheels, but the advantage with a 3 piece is if you curb or dent you can always replace the affected half.......these look great but boy you would have to really care for them.......

por - of all the cars I have had and driven I have NEVER not one time curbed a rim. Does this really happen often enough to be a real concern?

Hey Matt, wait until the Chicago winter hits, you wont have to worry about a curb, you will have to worry about the man eating pot holes!!
I have bent rims on the track (curb/rumble strips) These appear to racing rims (lightweight) and a single piece wheel wouid be very expensive if you bent them on the track. I have CCW's and Fiske's, 3 piece design, if they bend, I just swap the bent portion.
Most street guys will not bend a rim unless somehing stupid happens.
