I have 18x8 with 225/40/18's and 18x9.5 with 285/30/18's and the car is lowered about an inch all the way around. I have a very slight occassional rub on the rear driver side. Rolling the fender or increasing negative camber will cure it.

pete - that seems like a pretty big tire for that size rear rim?

Yup, I have 18 x 10's in the back and 18 x 9's in the front. No rubbing but the offset is spot on. CCW's.

The 285's fit fine. Same setup as a 996TT.

If you look on my website Events Page , you will see hundreds of pictures of 944/951 with different wheels fitted.

Try under 'TIPEC 2004' first ...

Here's some pictures of my track car - wheels are Forgelines in 18x8.5 and 18x10. I run 275 & 245 Hoosiers (no rubbing at all) and 265 & 225 rain tires - car has been lowered.
