I tried using a check ball-valve to block any potential boost from backflowing into the AOS, thinking that the BOV dumping boost might go that route. It had a terrible effect - the valve would open under higher pressure and dump tons of oil into the intake when coming off boost and the car would smoke like crazy. Also, the car sprouted more oil leaks since it appeared that the valve would restrict the venting of crank pressure. After I removed the valve, all the problems disappeared. I used a 3/4" ID industrial brass valve, and yes it was in the right flow direction.

Well how about just plugging the hole in the intake and have a hose from the crankcase poitning towards the bottom of the car so all the vapor just gets discharged via that hose.
I had this set up on my mitsu turbo and hardly ever saw any oil stains/marks under my car....

This can catches the oil before it gets to the intake. Advantage of which is less oil in the cumbustion chamber... Meaning more room for air and gas

Ok, just a stupid question, where do you connect those hoses from the PCV and then another hose back to the throttle body? anyone got more detailed pics? (i am a newbie mechanic).

yea, thats right...
basically, the hose that goes from the oil air seperator (NOT the oil cooler) to the J-Boot, the idea is as if you slice that, connect one end to the top of the can, and one end to the side. very simple.
