TO4E vs. TO4B

I think I am quite lost. I have searched and can not find really anyone that breaks down the difference between these two. What is the difference? Are they better then a k27 or K26? Can you get one with a #6 hotside? I have not seen any of them with the #6 hot side. I would like quick spool but decent power. Now are the TO4s garrett or turbonetics? I know a lot of questions may sound dumb or whatever but i need someone to break it down for me. I would like to understand what all you guys are talking about with these turbos. Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure on the technical diffrences, but the E is a bigger turbo, boosts more. Also i think they have the garrett name on them, but all in all made by turbonetics.
FYI, for a stock bolt on you'll have to get a hybrid that has a KKK center section.
An alternative would be a K27.

Garretts are made in Sweden..KKK in Germany...
difference between E and B is E is a bigger compressor housing.....I would recomend a 8 hot housing instead of a 6...
Turbonetics just takes them fom Garrett and put their own work in...The reson why I like the T04E is becouse it achieves the same boost at 80K rpm that our k26 would at 200K rpm's...think of it as a big fan vs a small fan...

So a Garrette T04E (hybird) is the best bang for buck turbo out there?
I think so...an they are good
Just asking , but where can you get a new/rebuilt/Modded KKK27/6 or a K27/8?
Powerhous....
I wonder how a K29 performs

Garrett makes a KKK replica turbine housing that is just a smidge bigger than a #8. So the new T04E/B hybrids all use their KKK #8 replica, and your choice of the oil only or oil+water center.

Best bang for buck?
I don't really know much about turbo's other than you can get yours changed to k27 for around $700
OR BUY A BRAND NEW TURBOKENETICS, 60 HI FI for around the same amount.
Whatever the pros and cons, the 60 HiFi is relatively cheap
