Hi all, 86 951, oil pressure gauge is staying buried at top of it's range when engine is running. any suggestions????????? Tia.

check to see if the wire to the sender is connected and make sure that it is not broken, if it is o.k. then ground the wire and see if the gauge responds, if it does the problem is with your sender, if it does not the problem is either the gauge or a bad connection or broken wire. Wires do not usually break by themselves, see if there has been any work done in the area recently.
