Default Looking for a short block

I spun a bearing on my car and scored the crank, pistons, and clynder walls pretty badly. Took it to a Porsche racing specialist who is going to look at sleeving the block and grinding the crank. Pistons and rods are trashed beyond repair.

I plan to get the estimates early next week and am not overly optimistic about what it will cost. I'd like to look around and see if anyone has any info on a decent short block (block, crank, pistons, rods) for sale. Don;t know if I'll need it yet, but want to be ready to pull the trigger if I need to.

Also, has anyone ever spun the #2 and had the block and cracnk repaired? What did it run you?

TIA,
Scott
