Default Cold air intake

I have a 1986 951 and have replaced the air box with a K&N but the intake is right behind the radiator. Is there a cheap way to reroute the intake to the area behind the headlamp. The car is track only so I don't need the headlight.

The cheapest way is to put a stock air box back on. It works a lot better than people want to think.

Otherwise there really is no simple solution unless you get rid of the headlights and add a duct from one of them.

You can cut out the stopping bracket on the headlight to allow more room.
