Default Strut inserts

Hi, quick question. Do you need the specific Koni strut inserts to convert the 951 front struts, or does any 944 insert work? I suppose the mounting bolt on the bottom is the key?

Thanks,
-Joel.

Not sure what your referring to but if you talking about converting Boge or Sachs struts to Koni inserts...go to www.paragon-products.com check out the Tech Session on strut inserts and replacements. jwl did it in a couple of days taking his time and that included new yellow paint; nice job too.

The mounting bolt on the bottom is the key - and, the diameter of the casing (52mm). I don't know of another strut insert that provides for this type conversion.
