Brake booster restrictor?
Hi Guys
the hose from the manifold to the brake booster was split i two. As a joiner this strange thing was used (PO). The very small hole in one end must restrict the suction to the brake booster.
does it belong in there. Brakes worked fine I just wanted to see why the hose was i two pieces.
You can’t get too much brake boost can you ?

If you delete the Venturi tube on a turbo model, you will need to ensure that the check valve in line to the brake booster is good. Otherwise, you could be pressurizing your brake booster and not having any brake assist.
The purpose of that Venturi device is to ensure there was always vacuum drawing on the brake booster diaphragm, regardless of the pressure inside the manifold, based on throttle position or turbo boost.
