Ya I read about it and now I am living it. What is the best solution? The stainless large plate remove steering column , remove brake master, remove clutch master the place the plate onto the firewall. Or who sells the brace which fits between the firewall and the strut brace requiring only the removal of the clutch master once you have access to it. This looks like a big job no matter which way but I much prefer only taking off the clutch master then all of the rest of the stuff.

there was a user here that made a brace/ bracket just for the clutch firewall replacement and only944.com sells a complete firewall reinforcement plate. I have both, but they are included with my resto/mod project post

 

I have seen the two of them on sites but where does a person find the brace from the master to the strut support tower? I would be interested in that as less parts removal required. Boost Brothers on line shows the brace I want but they are out of stock. does anyone else sell them?
