Default Bushings , Torsion tube?

going to do a torsion bar job.

What bushings do I need/Is good practice to replace?
Other items?
The Poly-Graphite plastic bushings from Paragon, any good on a street car?

I`m thinking only the torsion tube mount and spring plate..

Oops, sorry, i thought you were going for the torque tube the torsion bar has a number of bushings in and out, the newer Poly-Graphite bushings would be a great improvement compared with stock, but as a result they could be stiffer. Call up Jason or Skip at Paragon and see what they say. Sorry again for the confusion earlier

think I go with the Poly-Graphite bushings, much cheaper than Oem..

I`m not sure how much to lower the car though... should it be level when done? It`s quite low at the front, so Im gota drop it 1 1/2" at the back.
could I use the eccentric to make small adjustment ?

That what the eccentic is for, small adjustments. If you run out of adjustment, you have to re-index the bars.

Seems like the car already has been lowered at the eccentric. Should I change the eccentric, so It would be possible to adjust it both ways when Im done with the bar job?

No Lowering beyond the eccentric adjustment requires a t-bar reindex.

I run the poly graphite bushing on my race car and they sqeak like hell. I don't notice at racing speed since I am too busy, but do notice a lower speeds. Also since my interior is gone it really amplyfies the squeaking. I have been told the Delrin sping plate bushing don't squeak.

I just got the same as paragon sell. They are Weltmeister, they are in VERY hard plastic... I didn't install them yet. I hope they will not squeak!

I went with delrin and although the installation was a pita, they don't squeak and they aren't all that bad on the street, but I run 550# in front and 650# rear, so I'm probably the best judge for ride quality on the street.
