Glad to hear it is back.

If the FPR was stuck, you wouldn't get preasure at the test port so go figure. Sounds like your repair is as hard to explain as mine was.

Yeah, go figure! I'm going to get a 3-bar FPR just to have incase this problem happens again. I don't feel like dishing out $200 for another adjustable one just to set it close to 3 bar.

Okay, I have the Paragon one in my turbo for years - rock solid adjustments that stay there for years. The Bosch adjustable I have on my race car, and I have needed to tighten it EVERY time just to MAINTAIN 3 bar - it is a piece of ****. Get the one from Paragon.

It turns out the damper was the cause of all this. I replaced it and all is well. Thanks for all the input!

I can't believe noone has told you to put in a new fuel pressure regulator. If that doesn't fix it, I am buying everyone in this post before me a round of drinks. special tool
