Default I'm back!!! Sorry :(

Hey, it's me, I'm back! Just dropping a quick note to say what's up without checking up on the listings here since I'm dead tired.

As many of you know from another thread, my Anderson 2.8L bored engine self-destructed with less than 4000-miles on the clock. Frank was nice enough to tow me to his place in LA and I rented a car to head back to S.B. for a couple of days to get work done and orders out. Then I was headed back down after a full day's work on 5/17 to rebuild the car. Well, I must've been more tired than I thought and I must've dozed off around Thousand Oaks/Camarillo. The Bott's Dots woke me up so a frightening sight as I was closing in on a car ahead of me and I was only about a car-length behind... SCREEECCHH!!!!! BAM!!!!

So... the next 3-4 days was occupied with insurance calls and paperwork. My insurance had a $500 deductible on damage and $500 on personal-injury, so I had to cover that. I also had to get a rental car for the lady I ran into. Finally got all that squared away (along with some GURU orders) and headed down to Frank's again. We spent a good 6-days non-stop ripping out the Anderson engine and rebuilt a low-mile spare 944NA he had laying around (thanks Franks! ). Since I couldn't get a mine in time, or the equipment to smelt ore and cast/forge my own parts, I did the best job I could on stock parts. We replaced every single seal, cleaned every part and tightened every nut & bolt to spec. Finally got the last pieces in today and I headed back to Santa Barbara.

Sorry I fell behind on all those who've been waiting, I'll be back up to speed this week and will be getting stuff out. I heard I had messed up on some shipping-labels and a couple people got the wrong orders, those should be heading out to the correct persons as well. What a nightmare! At least I can feel some relief from having restored my car back to fairly stock condition with no aftermarket influences beyond my control.

If anyone has a line on a reliable daily-driver, please let me know! Over & out for now, bedtime...

Cool, I wasn't going to want to purchase anything until you were back.
I need some chips.
Boost will be set at 13, max 16 .. don't need to go to 18.
Have SFR stage III turbo and tial 38mm.
Lemme know what you can do for me.
Thanks Dan

Red,

You dont want to run at 13psi with the SFR3. Its still asleep then. Or even 16psi. You should be at least running it at 18psi.
