Default Took a ride in my Cousin's 550 hp 996 TT today!

Well, what can I say, the craziest rush I've ever experienced. The acceleration is beyond anything that I know, so all in all, I'm in shock. I was wondering if it was possible to get a 951 to remotely that power to weight?

Funny the last 500+ HP 993 TT I was in did not feel fast at all. Far too civilized. Just kept accelerating, no "push" to it, if you know what I mean.

On the contrary, All it wanted to do was keep pulling, so, sorry I don't know what you mean.

But, is it possible to get a 951 to that level of power?

possibly... i've ridden in a greddy t78 (the next step down) supra dyno'd at 720 to the wheels, that thing throws u back into ur seat VIOLENTLY when accelerating from 80 to 150 mph
and the t88 can reach upwards of 1000 hp

They fitted a new GT series turbo with a 1.04 a/r on a local supra and dyno'd it at Jotech Motorsport's.

890rwhp @ 25psi
1***rwhp @ 34psi running c16. I don't know how much hp it really made cause the dyno can't read anything higher than 1100hp. It souded like a jetplane. The car wasent even really drive able. Full boost at nearly 4700rpm's in third. I think all he could muster was 27psi outta second gear. Still than thing on the freeway from a 70mph roll I bet would be pretty crazy. I am sure it pull's like a boat off boost though. Personally I would take a twin swap like the GT28/35's. Run 18-22 psi of boost and make 700 at the wheels on pump gas still gettting full boost by 4k in second gear.

Sure, how much money do you have?

Seriously, shouldnt be a problem. There is a lister here that has a 1K+ HP 951 and a 900 HP 968. Depends on how many times you want to rebuild stuff and how much you have to throw at it. A 550HP 996TT isnt cheap to build either.

I will quadruple the fact that Supras can be crazy fast and amazingly reliable. They dont handle well in stock form and the brakes arent great either. Of course, with 1K HP it isnt really about turning, is it?
