Check guru racing web site, he does offers numerous upgrades such as JATO packs, roof-mounted RPG, all for a nominal charge, Than can really make a substantial difference in your 1/4 mile times. Jato's can reduce your 1/4 times to just a couple a seconds or imagine what a roof mounted rgp can do for you, just blow away your competition and you will always win the race.

J/k

What you really need is a set of chips that are mapped for a k-27 and 18psi of boost or you will need a signal massager, like the power perfect or mafterburner from LR. Running 18psi with authotority chips is crazy those suckers have a tendency to lean out at high rpm's.

Contact Danno at guru racing, that's probably the best thing to do before you damage your head gasket.

here is the site; http://www.gururacing.net/

My .02 cents

i see nothing wrong with drag racing just go out there and have fun. Drag racing is hard on any import car out there it is just that our cars are more expensive to fix. Just go and buy those lifetime warranty cv joints and when they break just go and get new ones.

1/4mile in stock condition?

I`ve done some testes with mine and ran from a 13blank and the best at 12,5sec .. I`m not sure about the speed though... 112mph maybe max, could this be right. The time taking is very uunofficial but I think it should give a indication. It took a lot of runs before I could get the launch right, and then there was the shifting... this is at 20psi with the k26/8 and a shimmed WG and boost-enhancer.. It peaked at 4200rpm

After doing this , I had to replace my clutch and all CV joints $$

Good luck PORSCHEMANIA,I found out if you want to drag race get an automatic or get alot of axel shafts I went trough 3 of em drag racing and my times still suck for the power I put out.If you want to run low 13's the 951 will do just fine.If you want any lower you better be willing to put 20 grand into the car and find a way to get traction without breaking things.Anyway drag racing is fun no matter what the good thing is most race's on the street will benefit you so start adding power,And good luck.

Good luck Mania! I just came back from some tuning with av gas at 18psi. Feels so strong in 4th. How much 4th do you reckon will be in the 1/4? I was thinking I may not get out of third...

NZ if you are trapping more than 100mph you are going to spend lot's of time in 4th. With your mods you should be trapping 115's maybe higher teen's. I could hit 4th in completely stock trim so...I imagine you will be hitting 4th atleast by the 1000ft mark. Maybe much sooner.

Oh man thats great news! I have never run the 1/4 so I dont know what to expect. What do you think I will run? I wont drop the clutch at 5, thinking more of feathering from 3.5... I have dropped at 5 before and it was mostly wheel spin, mind you that was pre new tyres.
