Hi Guys,
I’m about to install an extra oilcooler as an extension to the original one.
Do you know the thread size of the original hose?
Is this in or out of the oilcooler?

This company sells AN conversion fittings, and they state that the Porsche size is 30 mm x 1.5 mm pitch

The link reads 911 Oil cooler - are we sure it also applies for the 944 turbo?

I forget: that may be true for the oil hoses, but there's a little adapter in there already. pull that out and it's the same m22 as Setrab uses for all their oil coolers.
I threw together a bracket to mount another stock cooler on the driver's side that clears the AC lines, can dig up the DXFs if you like. It's simple, but works great so far!

just to be sure, you mean that there is an adapter between the hose and the oilcooler?
I want to use both the hose and the Oil cooler - add in an extra cooler after the hose and then an extra hose back to the original cooler.

Here's a link to Lindsey Racing that should help with thread sizes / adapters.

I sourced adapters from BAT Inc. when adding dual oil coolers.

Yep, see #6 (900 915 101 02):

I mean I'd just make all new hoses - If you have the means to re-crimp and reroute the existing stuff, then ignore me. Here's mine (tape's long gone!):
driver's side
passenger's side
Edit: Fittings tally is something like 1x straight, 1x 90, 4x 45, 6x M22->AN12. 10' of hose was enough, iirc.

I’m about to throw the car over a cliff
Are there any secrets to How to undo the hoses? They are stuck, tried heat, violence, wd40 and other similar products.
do they untie left or right?
thanks.

I think they're 32 and 36mm (and normal right-hand threads!) - So 1 1/4 and 1 7/16 (check that last one) imperial should work. I went and bought biig open-ended wrenches in that size from a local shop, used one to counter-hold and the other to move the outer fitting. Don't recall if I had to beat on it with a hammer or brace it against the floor or something, but all are options.
Counter-holding it is important, but it mostly boiled down to leverage for me. Maybe try penetrating oil rather than WD40?
