Default track traction issue

Any body out there have similar set-up to get some info from.

1989 944 turbo
cup car away bars F&R (rear full soft)
coil-overs F&R (F=450, R=250)
camber plates (F= -2deg, R= -1deg)
charlie bars
camber brace
hoosiers at track exit 43lbs pressure

I have traction issues in the rear when slightly off weighted , exiting a turn and getting on the throttle, seems like rear is to stiff or to much neg. camber in rear. Any info sure would help.
Thanks again.

944fest rocks '01,'02,'03 and so will '04!!!!!!!!!

Do you have limited slip? We picked up a shade under 2 seconds with LSD ONLY at Lime Rock.

If it's an 89, it should have the limited slip as I believe that was part of the stock 89 set-up.

Yes, LSD was factory standard for 89.

you may want to post over in the racing board.
the response isnt as fast, but they may have some better feedback.

you feel that the rear is too planted?
You have stock torsion bars to go with those 250's I assume?

Is it possible that you diff has worn clutches?? You really shouldn't be spinning the inside rear with a good 40% diff.

Have you measured the tire tread temperature profiles (inside, mid, outside)?
That should give a good indication of alignment and tire pressure matching the track and your driving style.

Don't understand "off weighted". When you're exiting a corner and apply power, your rear wouldn't be off weighted.

I have almost the exact set-up. 400# front, 250# rear helper coilovers, 968M030 sways (middle rear), same alignment. 275/40/17 rear, 255/45/17 front. I run 32lb cold, and bleed off to keep pressures at 40 hot. Anything above and it gets loose. I bet you are over inflated.
