Default quick question: which wire is the RPM signal wire?

i'm looking at the wiring diagrams for my 87 turbo and i am confused as to which one is the RPM signal wire. i pretty sure it is either off of the speed sensor or the reference sensor. so my options will be either 25 or 26 on the DME to the reference sensor, or 27 or 8 off the DME to the speed sensor. my assuption would be that the speed sensor measures car speed and the reference sensor measures the RPMs. I could have this wrong, so if anyone could enlighten me as to which wire going to the DME is the RPM signal wire that would be great!!!

TIA

DME Pin #21 is used for RPM.
