Talking New 968 Mirrors and Door handles installed PICS

Just got the car back from the paint shop and had all the front rock chips taken out and a few other touch ups as the car only has 66k and is already pristine. Amazing how door handles and mirrors can make the car look so much more newer! Kinda wish I would have had the AIR splitter put on as well.... oh well maybe next year.

That looks great...if you don't mind my asking, approximately how much did it cost you to get paint chips removed? Was it a completely respray?

Thanks,
Max

Yes, Dan, how much did they do and what did it cost. I've used my 3.6 Turbo (Blk/Blk) as a daily driver for more than a year and the front looks like its been peppered by a BB machine gun. I'd love to do a quick touch up before I have to completely repaint it.

The car was keyed on the hood and the whole driver side so I had them fix everthing plus put the mirrors and door handles on. The body shop that did the work were complete pros I was so worried about bringing the car in and have them matching it and blending it but talk about WOW when I saw the car when it was done!! The total cost was around 1700 out the door for all the work.

Ok, who wants a set of cup wheels??? I'm getting these Moda's. Those are 18's right? what wheel size and tire size are you running? Great looking car. If I have my way, our cars will be twins by summer's end.

That is a really great combo, and the tire wheel package really sets off the lines of the car. Yep, its a gonna be a blk/blk one for me if I'm lucky.

Truly Beautiful in Black...I'd be happy if my paint were half as flat as yours. Do you know what paint they used DuPont ChromaBase/Clear, PPG? I'm going to respray mine in the next year to take care of some areas of bad surface prep by the PO.
