Default Clutch

When should a stock clutch grab? How much pedal movment? I went and drove the 951 Ive been looking at and the clutch seemed "weird." Thanks!!!

how werid describe it a little better. Stock clutch should be grabbing half way through the pedal. Say the pedal moves 6 inches total....at about 3 it should be grabbing just fine. When the clutch starts to run out of life that "feel" spot as I call it get's moved further and futher to the top. Then finally you press down the clutch and nothing happens at all.

the pedal was very "springy" and when the sring stopped it started to grab
