Default How to Dissemble One Piece OPRV

How do you take apart the one piece OPRV to replace the inside O ring seal? I have searched but could not find any information. I have the oil console out to replace the oil cooler lines and replacing all other seals while at it.

I found brute force . I replaced the inner Oring on a couple of engines but you have to be so careful not to nick it on reassembly as tolerances so tight which I did a couple of times . Now I don't bother replacing the inner just the outer unless there has been a problem with it , " If it ain't broke ......"

Thanks for the tip. I'll leave it then. In my pursuit of winning the battle against leaks in the 951, I've availed to replace every O ring, seal, gaskets on the 951.

I wouldn’t mess with the OPRV … like they say , if it ain’t broke leave it alone. If you mess up , the cost of another one is a lot more than just an o’ring.

Cheers
Phil
