Default Drip pan Delete? Tired of taking it off & on.

Do I really need to keep that big drip pan under the motor that catches
every bolt, washer & nut that I drop, not to mention all the fluids it collects.

Lots of folks don't have them, and don't report ill effects, altho I know Porsche spend some good money trying to develop it. It is supposed to help keep the engine running cooler and make the underside of the car more aerodynamic. Having said that, tho... my '86 951 went a lot of miles without it, and it didn't hurt it any.

While you can run with the pan or pans off, it is there for improved aerodynamics.

If you don't want them, I'll take them.
