Default Vendor for turbo cup car mirror gaskets?

Apparently you need the gaskets from early non-powered 924 mirrors. Gaskets from power mirrors are bigger.

477 857 579 (left mirror base basket)

478 857 579 (right mirror base gasket)

One side was NLA for years. Not sure Porsche ever made another run. Worth checking.

They were available just a few weeks back when I got some both left/right, cheap too.

A quick search shows the left side is available at many vendors, but the right side is NLA. Perhaps it's still available on your side of the pond Peder? If so, could you source a few?

Okay found the left and right gaskets from:

https://www.design911.co.uk

Honestly, sorry for not ordering a few more gaskets for other people who will need them but I won’t be able to verify they fit for atleast 6 weeks (out of town).Could have saved everyone a few bucks on shipping. I’ll update you guys in the future.

Image and part number are correct.

No idea. Maybe they will show up on ebay. I purchased some replica turbo cup mirrors from Marco Antonio. He can be found on the 944 Facebook community. I believe he has a few sets left.

The base part is recreated out of fiberglass. Top portion is OEM. They are non-folding. Not sure if factory turbo cup mirrors could be folded.

Quality looks great. Strong fiberglass base.
One of the gaskets fits like a glove… the other gasket doesnt. I’ll need to sand the fiberglass for better fitment.
Hardware looks solid. Should hold up.
