The Lindsey pump I believe you ordered is a high quality unit, you won't have any problems with it. I've got one on my '87.

Update guys, I tried the fuel pump Scott sent (thanks Scott) and tried cranking the car. No fuel pressure what so ever. None, at all. This has me thinking it might be the dme or the anti theft controller. Any suggestions?

Darius, I THINK I mighthave nailed it down. After swapping the fuel pumps, the car still didn't start. So, I swapped the anti-theft computer, no difference. I swapped DME's, no difference.
Unltimately, I installed the NEW fuel pump and the car started right away. So, lets see if it was the fuel pump. I didn't have any new washers for the fuel lines so its leaking a little. I will try to see if I can find some copper washers in the hardware store or either go to the dealer on monday and get them. I have a good feeling that it was the fuel pump and the pump Scott lent me might have been faulty as well.
I will keep you guys posted.

Not a problem Scott. It was all in good faith. I was a little bummed out when it didn't start with your pump but as soon as I installed my new pump, it started. Its all good.
Thanks for your help. I couldn't run it for too long as the copper washer was dripping and I need to buy new washers before I can take her on a test run.

I am stumped!!!
Same exact thing with a new fuel pump, new check valve, swapped dme's, dme relays and alarm module. Man, this is getting frustrating.
Any help will be appreciated.
It runs and then all of a sudden, fuel pressure drops and it shuts off. Fuel pressure builds up and it starts again.
