my water pump only has about 5000 kms on it so I'm thinking to reuse it. going to inspect it shortly.

ok so this project has had a few turns and twists along the way. Car is now with Glen in Buffalo and he is very competent on these cars btw. I knew one box somehow got lost about 2 years ago. it turns out it had clutch fork, pin, retaining bolts and spacer and bracket for clutch, as we;; as turbo line which I replaced with the lindsey one, and headlight buckets (Glen has a set). I sent an email to Mark Pleiman as I have bought parts from him before and he is a really nice guy. Oh and I broke the windshield on the way down and destroyed the hood, when it came loose of the tie down I put on. Glen has a hood he can paint and I also need a set of hinges, so I asked Mark. I found windshields in Canada for $500 CDN installed and in US for $377 usd plus shipping and install. hoping for not too many surprises. I really love this car. can't wait to see it complete

one of the delays was the engine and exhaust everything installed and we found out the bell housing provided by my old friend (which was supposed to be the one taken from my car) is from a NA car and different number of teeth and had to be swapped out for a new used one.
also many other parts were missing along the way like a swaybar bracket.
another issue is he put water in the rad and it leaked everywhere, so I bought a cheap chinese aluminum one for 100 and next day ordered a CSF thnking the chinese one wont likely work and neither fit, so Glen sold me a used one.
anyway car is ready just needs hood painted, and speedometer cable attached (behind dash), then drive her home, shakedown, do alignment, and new tires.
should be fun getting my baby back

got the alignment done, put on track wheels and tires from my other race car, got the a/c charged and working (hot here), and changed the oil and drove her at Mosport on Saturday and Sunday and did not miss a beat. didnt leak or burn any oil!
