Question help pricing an '86 951 DME/KLR wiring harness

I have a buddy who needs this to get a customer's car running. What do you think it is worth. It is used and brittle, but intact and functioning.

Help?

Is that DME, KLR, and wiring harness? Or just wiring harness?

Aging and brittle harness but ohms out good, $100-$150. Soft and pliable used, $200-$400 is what I've seen. I have a brand new one in the box, stays inside the house...last time I called Sunset and asked about one, they found one in Germany, $1251.00

I've got one with 27k miles on it that I wouldn't not sell for under $250. Considering the price of new, if I ever have a severe issue, I better have sold any used one I had for a nice penny.

PD make a sweet harness. Not sure if it can be used on a stock car...

I have one with a couple of cut wires such as an injector (needed the plug for ambient sensor) you can have it for free, but the thing weighs a lot, not sure how much shipping would be...

NZ951, I'm badly in need of a harness, and am willing to pay shipping on it!

Ok, I will dig it up from the garage, remember that one injector plug has been cut off and maybe a couple of other smaller bits, so this wont be a plug in replacement, if you have an old harness which is buggered you will be able to use those old bits. We were not interested in making sure it was intact when I had a new PD harness about to pop in! But it is 95% I would say. If you want it still let me know and I will get a freight price... sorry for the late delay.

Can the PD harness be used with any standalone or does it have to be used with the Link?

The reason I ask is because I want to use a DTA standalone system but I am guessing I will need a harness to go with it, unless the 968 harness can be used with it, I havent check it out yet.

Just get the Link... the PD harness with weatherall connectors etc (incredible build quality) was designed for the Link. They have developed more functionality in it since they started building them.
