Default Rebuilt M030 Koni struts 89 Turbo

I'll be re-assembling using org. factory springs with the objective to lower front approx. 1". Any advice on lower perch location on the collar up from the bottom as starting point?

Here's a page from the Porsche 944 Turbo Supplement Workshop Manual that shows the stock ride height adjustment. Sitting in the garage my 951 measures about 25-1/4" to the bottom of the front fender lip and as far as I know it has a stock suspension height. This is with 17" wheels. The S2, sitting on a slight incline in the driveway, measures the same with 18" wheels, but it looks like it sits lower because the tires fill the wheel well more.
