Are you for real? Ummmm stick a spark plug in your muffler. Then go fill out your application for the fast and the furious III. lol Its on TV tonight... I love that movie, such a load of bullocks, but fun still.

You can get flames pretty easy from our cars... but not stock. At the very least you'll need an aftermarket fuel controller to make it run a little rich. Flames are usually a bonus after you build and tune a motor correctly.

My buddy who has an imported JDM Toyota Corrolla Levin just installed a rev limiter on his car; it cuts off the spark at whatever RPM you want, so it runs rich and makes it crack and bang like hell out the tailpipe, and on occasion shoots fire...it's kind of humourous to see some people jump when they hear it; of course only in the right circumstances (ie not infront of a retirement home)

I've seen flames out of a stock 951's tailpipe... it was a catless euro model though, so probably running slightly richer fuel maps, and it was on a track -> the exhaust was really hot. It didn't do it all the time, just occasionally.
Mine's a real flamethrower at the moment, guess I should dial out some fuel

When I had the Weltmeister/Autothority bagged chips in my car my brother saw my car shoot fire once (cat cut out of the exhaust and a straight pipe welded in).
I know it happens more now with the Gurus...... That would be a nice switch to be able to do on the FQS....hehehehe....switch to flame mode

I shoot flames and pop every once in awhile. I have a couple of them on video....but, since it is far away they are hard to see. If you look close you can see them though.

like brian perry said - with a few mods, its a pretty common thing. mine pops and shoots flames occasionally and i think its hilarious!
it REALLY was popping and flaming when my DME was on the fritz - i think the DME would cut out, but the fuel would keep flowing....when the DME decided to wake back up, BANG! due to all the extra fuel. i limped all the way from tampa to miami like that down I75 at night - bucking along and spewing flame - i was waiting to see a bunch of cops come cruising by looking for the source of gunshots, because some of those bangs were LOUD and i could SEE the flash out the back....

My old RX-7 (first gen) had a hole in the muffler right beside the passenger rear wheel....when you first started and drove them, you'll pull out the manual choke. About a mile and a half into my drive each day, it would be warm enough in the exhaust to start igniting the extra fuel and I could see a 3-foot flame take the easy way out through that hole in the muffler and right through the wheel! Way cool to watch on a dark road in the right side mirror

My wastegate vents straight down under the passenger floor, so at the track, on darker evenings, you can see flames shooting from under the car on every shift/downshift .
I used to get flames out the tailpipe with the autothority chips, but with a properly tuned motor, I don't see anything except from my wastegate vent.
