Default Oil in Hard Pipes

Is oil in the hard pipes/intercooler normal? Car has 90,000miles. Also, there is a buildup of oil in teh boot from throttle body to hard pipe. Is this just a normal thing, or is it a sign of a larger issue. Should I just wipe it up and not worry about it? Car does not smoke or anything, so I assume I'm not burning alot of oil.

Thanks
Mike

Mike, some oil in the pipes is normal. Over a long period it can build up. Wipe it off, clean it off the rubber and put it back together and check it again in a month or so. If you only have a bit, it is just the normal blow by etc. that the engines develop over time.
