That makes sense. Well, are you planning on making a kit out of it?

Thanks,

450hp must be some kind of record with a 2.5 951... Hate to think how much that setup will be! Wonder how long the engine will last at that level?

Seems to me you would get close with a VS3 and a Lindsey (not quite) 363 kit...!

I'm not sure how we could make this a kit in it's current configuration. We are using Motec engine management and it needs to be programmed on a dyno. That would require the car be here in Va. for us to do.

Don't forget the 89 street car we did made 360 rwhp with a stock 200k engine and APE MAF kit. If we used a better intercooler and injectors it would certainly make close to 400 I believe. Right now it's getting choked out by the IC and cannot cool the charge adequately as well. That set up is MUCH closer to being a kit.

Unless someone wants to step up and give it a try! It's possible that a piggyback could do the job but I haven't tried that yet.

I will be happy to drive north a few miles and donate my car as a test mule with my SMT6 piggyback

Congratulations, Chris!

I guess this means you're not at VIR this weekend with your car? I hope you get a chance to drive this beast on the track at SP!

So Chris, if you wont tell us what kind of turbo it is, will you at least sell it to us? I have a 3L in the works, and I am going to outrun my little T4/T3.

Chris, if you need a car donated for the cause of tuning ANYTHING on ANY setup, I'll help you out... as long as I get it back, that is

Anywho... I'm sorry I haven't had the chance to call you yet, school keeps me well preoccupied! I'll make sure to give you a call this coming week.

Congrats on the numbers, your hard work and development has obviously payed off! Over 180whp/liter is just crazy.

Not sure why anyone would expect Chris to share his secrets. This is how he makes a living. If its that easy, we would all be making such numbers. He spents time and effort into this to get paid .
Chris, I have been considering going Motec next yr. Can we talk about it sometime? BTW, I am in NJ.
Regards.

Hi all. Yes I will sell a turbo to anyone. The problems with that are 1) availability, these are not popular or common turbo's so we place an order and have to wait. Last one was a month. 2) It's not a direct fit. Meaning that we made an adapter for the mount of the turbo as the footprint is much smaller than the triple K. The crossover pipe needs to have the flange at the turbine changed and the pipe is extended and raised slightly. The turbine outlet flange is also different and we just make a new downpipe for simplicity. The oil feed line needs to be longer so we make a new one.

None of this is a big deal for us now but may be a lot for most end users to DIY.

Kevin I look foreward to hearing from you.

Raj, I would be happy to help.

This is a pretty cool chart. We ran the car threw the gears and logged the results. I think it was at 1.4 bar.

According to weather.com, it looks like it's been dry there, although pretty cold for this time of year.

The car gets this weekend off. Mary will be driving it in the HPDC on April 18 to get some skidpad time, and I'll have it at VIR with Audi Club the end of April. I'll bring it by IMA for a pre-VIR check, probably on the 19th.
