Danno-Question about stealth MAP
In another thread you mentionned something about one of your customers running a very stealthy MAP setup. Here is the thread
Can you give me some more details? Any Pics?
Right now I have a K&N cone air filter hooked up to the factory AFM lying in front of the engine. Thus, it's sucking up quite a bit of hot air. To reduce the air temperature, I would really like to go back to the stock look with the factory airbox and snorkel but I would still like to up the HP's some. Any suggestions?

I currently have this setup. It does look very factory if you don't know what you are looking for. I'll also vouch for a noticeable increase in power and smoothness once it starts moving. The only drawback is a slight hesitation if you try to come off idle too quickly. You won't notice it much once you tune everything.

No my car gets driven in almost every month as long as it's not stupidly cold or icy out. I don't commute with it, but just go for a nice drive on weekends if weather permits. It's a catch 22 though... because in the really cold weather I make more power, but traction becomes a serious issue. No matter now, it's really warming up; we had a +24°C day this week.
