ok I'll try those, yes i'm looking at cheapturbo.com, their price seem quite reasonable. Has anyone tried the GT35/T3 or T4 combination, will the T4 hot side fit under the stock intake manifold? They do not specify the cooling style or bearing type of this turbo, does anyone know?

Thanks again,

Hey Anrew,
Don't forget the 360 degree
thrust bearing & water cooling
option. By the time you add up
the cost it's no more a 'Cheap
Turbo'

Thats only an extra $150 for both those options. It still works out pretty cheap.

Just to clarify, the Garrett "GT" turbos that most of us refer to on here as being awesome and better than everything else are their GT__R turbos, with ball bearings. If it's a sleeve bearing or thrust bearing, we're not talking the same thing.

BTW as Sam says there's also an "ordinary" line of GT turbos... they can be found on most smaller Volvo trucks and aren't expensive or super hi-tech

Oops posted the wrong pic! The car was right though

I think the reason the other car has the turbo outlet facing down is because it sits so high up that it might be clerance problems width hit the hood and because the intercooler flow will be reversed.
