Angry vacuum lines mixed up HELP PLEASE

will vaccum lines being mixed up to the wastegate and everywhere else cause my car to smoke?? I can't trust my mechanic anymore because i thought i had a blown headgasket and everything else when i am now thinking it might now have been that. I piad him $2000 to fix all of my problems and none are fixed. He is also fixed the oil pan gasket and it leaks like hell from there. I am just pissed off and wondering if anyone can help me thanks in advance

I think you just wouldnt get much boost (8psi or so).
It definately don't think it would cause smoke.
I'm not positive.

Hey-
You get that thing back together yet? Heh - I made it to Phoenix...
Here is a diagram:

In your case don't worry about the vapor purge or the ISV. The ISV just goes like I showed you -> Manifold to ISV to charge pipe. Brake booster just goes to the check valve then to the manifold. The vac lines were most likely not the problem. We will find out the cause of the smoke when you get it back together. Then you can help me on mine.

P.S. When do you leave on your trip and when do you get back?

chris it looks like a way bigger problem then vaccum lines now. I can explain it on the phone if i can call over there but i will try to give you some of the scoop.

Well it comes out like i am going to have to take this guy to court or ask for a full refund. We got everything hooked up and comes to find out oil is spilling out all over the oil pan gasket so i got so pissed when this happen. Then next thing my car starts smoking like hell so i look at the exhaust and guess what i found allllll kinds of oil and antifreeze URGGGHHHHH!. That dam liar. He didn't fixed SH#T. I though we might have got some in the oil so i drained it and cleaned it out and put new oil and started her up starting smoking all kinds and look in the exhaust and what would you know all kinds of stuff. I mean alot in the exhaust. Uhh i am so pissed we are calling him up tomorrow to tell him. We tried calling him today and he just kept ignoring our calls so we are just going to go up there and give him a piece of my mind abotu him.

The Tial is going to be hooked up in a different direction than the stock one. Remember that when you are looking at it.

I would like to see it when it is running... I wish I was in CO so I could come look at it. The oil and coolant could be left over from the first time it blew. I would do a leak down and compression test before you do ANYTHING more!

You can replace rod bearings in these cars by pulling the pan... no problem. The mechanic would know that if he took the pan off! I would bet he didn't. He would know that there is no cage preventing you from replacing the bearings in our cars!

chris i know it is installed backwards after talking with tim and speedforceracing. Also i know the headgasket is blown because there is tons of antifreeze in the ehxuast mixed with oil and it leaves clouds and clouds of smoke when driven.
