I replaced my stripped gears, everything is realligned problem is the sunroof only goes down. It can be operated manually to go up, but the switch will only operates for down position only and shuts off and then releases the sunroof. What's the fix

Is the ignition key in the first or second position? First position for removing the sunroof (only goes down) and second for going up and down. Not trying to be simple but I made the same mistake during a 'senior' moment.

Nope I tried that, it should go up in the second position but nothing.

Check http://www.clarks-garage.com it sounds like your micro switch between the sun visors might be bad.
